Jen and her fiance Don, chose this vintage looking theme. I love that the information side of the announcement looks like an classic newspaper article. Well, that was my inspiration....

I love when people have great ideas. Jen called me and said, "We'd really like a monogram with our initials on it." Genius. I rarely do monograms, but this one I really love.
It was on the back of all the cards.

Of course I love the colors, grey and mustard yellow. I am sure that Jen is going to do a beautiful job with this wedding. I love when people take risks with color for their reception. It is totally different, unlike the pastels and white in good 'Ole Utah.
Gotta love it!

I would never admit this, for any other reason than inspiration. I have a way of getting super frustrated with myself when I can't think of ideas. I was so perturbed with my thoughts that I put down my computer and watched an episode of the hills. The intro struck me. The glisten of the city lights led me from this....

To this! I love the blur/bubble of the lights. It looks like the image is sparkling.

Just a preview. But I can't wait to finish all the pieces for these two!

Sexy Bridal Shower...

It's so funny, because the day after I received these from the printer, I received an invite for a friend's shower with the same theme/font. It was hilarious. I LOVE sexy bridal showers, they are always the most fun, so keep on keepin' on ladies! You KNOW that's what we like to do at showers...exchange good stuff. :)

Emily and Trent were married a couple of weeks ago! Congrats to both of them and their families! So to wrap it up, Emily and Trent had this hilarious picture of them both for their "Thank You" cards. A friend's sister, is starting this SUPER smart company....Maid to Sell. It's an idea where a cleaning service, with the help of a Realtor, helps you make a great first impression to buyers. Smart. So here is the back of the business card, just a sketch....

One of my favorite people/designers Karim...who my classmates and I met in person, designed a line for this lighting company, (this is not HIS product, but he has several amazing ones) and I saw this new creation on a blog. I called a friend who lives in Montreal, who works for a design rep who SELLS these beauties, and you'll never believe how much they cost....$200! (Each, ok...but DO-ABLE!)

The waterproof ones are the most expensive....

My cousin Cassidy has a best friend Lindsey, who I have become pretty familiar with over the last 15-20 years or so. She is having a baby, who is already spoiled ROTTEN. So we decided that it only would be fitting to do something horribly princess/girly. So here it is...
My favorite is the prego lady walking with the shopping bag, because it is TOTALLY Lindsey.

Totally Random....
So, secretly, I have been drooling over this mid-century modern home in Sugarhouse. Zach won't admit it, but he LOVES it too. So, I have been looking for furniture....because.....I want to. I want a walnut sideboard to go in the dining room....or for whatever room. I have been looking online on my favorite mid-century furniture sites and found 1,000 pieces I love, but are all over $1,000. Actually, they are more like $2,500! So, I was talking to a co-worker this morning, showed me this website ZOE DANE, and I am OBSESSED. I called the owner, Chris, and gave him some drawings of a CUSTOM Sideboard I want to make with Plex for doors, or painted glass! He called me back an hour later and told me he could hand make the piece for $600! Custom furniture is finally affordable, and based in Utah! Here are some of his pieces! He does stainless steel too!

Whitney, my roommate for three years in college, is getting married June 27th! Her and her fiance Landon, are an awesome couple, and Whit came up with the invite layout all on her own, pretty clever! We love how it turned out! Since her wedding is taking place at her home, we called this design Backyard.
